About Silver Yoga

Through offering yoga classes for the elderly, Silver Yoga aims to enhance the physical, mental, social and spiritual well-being of the elderly. We believe that aging should not be a barrier to personal growth and that there are always new possibilities at every stage of life. By encouraging the elderly to embrace aging positively and strive for “healthy longevity,” we can also help alleviate the impact of population aging on families and society.

About “Yoga and Mindfulness for Aging Carers” (YMAC) Program

The phenomenon of “elderly taking care of the elderly” is becoming increasingly common in Hong Kong. Many elder carers tend to have lower levels of physical and mental health, social connectedness, and family well-being. This program aims to improve their overall quality of life by offering activities such as mindfulness and yoga, which enhance both physical and mental well-being while strengthening their connection with the community.
